POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Revenue Management is a resort-embedded member of Alterra's centralized Revenue Management Shared Services team, responsible for maximizing total mountain revenue through end-to-end revenue management and product strategy across lift tickets, season passes, ski & ride school, rentals, lockers, and parking. The primary focus is to grow skier visits,optimizevisit mix across paid ticket and passholder segments, and increase revenue per visit through higher ancillary penetration. This role is accountable for delivering measurable revenue outcomes and acts as the commercial owner of resort services performance at the mountain level.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Commercial Excellence, this role serves as the commercial lead for resort services and a trusted partner to resort leadership. As an embedded member of the local team, the Resort Revenue Manager works closely with Resort Presidents, Marketing, FP&A, and operational leaders to align pricing, product strategy, demand generation, and financial planning. They translate data and insights into clear, actionable strategies that drive results and ensure alignment across the resort.

While lodging revenue management is owned by a separate leader, this role partners closely with the lodging revenue manager to ensure packaging, offers, and overall resort positioning align with broader commercial strategy. Success in this role requires strong day-to-day partnership with resort teams to ensure strategies are practical, executable, and grounded in local operating realities.

Candidates may be based in any of the following locations: Steamboat, Winter Park, Deer Valley, or the Denver office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Own revenue performance for resort services at the mountain level, with accountability for delivering measurable results across visits, revenue, and revenue per visit
  • Develop and execute pricing, product, and distribution strategies across lift tickets, season passes, ski & ride school, rentals, lockers, and parking, informed by guest behavior and demand patterns
  • Lead the weekly revenue management and commercial performance meeting at the resort, driving in-season performance management, inventory and yield decisions, and alignment with resort leadership
  • Analyze performance and demand trends, translate insights into clear actions, andidentifynew product, pricing, and packaging opportunities to drive incremental revenue andoptimizevisit mix
  • Partner closely with resort leadership and department heads as an embedded member of the local team to align commercial strategies with operational plans and drive annual planning, in-season decisions, and post-season reviews
  • Own forecasting and reporting for resort services, including revenue forecasting by product, pace reporting, and visibility into key commercial metrics
  • Design and execute initiatives to increase ancillary penetration, product attachment, and bundling across lessons, rentals, and other on-mountain products
  • Collaborate with the lodging revenue manager to align packaging, bundled offers, and overall resort positioning with broader commercial strategy
  • Contribute resort-specific insights and best practices to regional and company-wide commercial initiatives
  • Supportadhoc analyses and projects related to pricing, product development, and commercial strategy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree inaquantitative, business, or related discipline (such as Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6-10+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, commercial strategy, or a highly analytical role with direct impact on business performance.
  • Demonstrated experience using data and analysis to drive pricing, product, or commercial decisions that deliver measurable improvements in revenue, profitability, or customer outcomes
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders or business owners and influencing decisions based on structured analysis and clear recommendations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in hospitality, travel, recreation,ecommerce, or othercapacityconstrained,demandvariableindustries.
  • Prior experience with ski resorts, mountain destinations, or outdoorrecreationfocusedbusinesses.
  • Experience developing, testing, and refining new products or offers (e.g., bundles, pilots, or A/B tests).
  • Experience working within amultilocationor matrixed organizational structure.

Work Environment

  • The positionoperatesprimarily in an office environment but may require occasionalonmountainpresence in variable weather conditions.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base salary range: $80,000 - $112,000 per year
