Oregon Vascular Specialists is a growing physician-led vascular surgery practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining operational excellence and financial integrity. We are seeking an experienced Revenue Integrity Manager to join our leadership team and help optimize revenue cycle performance, reimbursement, compliance, and financial outcomes across our organization.


Position Summary

The Revenue Integrity Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue integrity and revenue cycle operations. This leadership role partners closely with physicians, operational leaders, and our third-party revenue cycle management company to ensure accurate charge capture, coding compliance, reimbursement optimization, denial prevention, payer performance, and revenue analytics. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader who uses data to improve processes, reduce revenue leakage, and support organizational growth.


Responsibility Highlights
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive revenue integrity program.
  • Monitor charge capture accuracy and identify opportunities to reduce revenue leakage.
  • Conduct audits of coding, documentation, and reimbursement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, commercial payer, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with providers to improve clinical documentation and coding accuracy. ?cite?turn1search4?
  • Provide oversight of all phases of the revenue cycle, including:
    • Insurance verification
    • Prior authorizations
    • Act as a liaison for the practice with our third-party RCM company to review issues with claims submission/denial management and assist with coding issues and other AR related functions specific to the practice
    • Patient collections
  • Develop strategies to improve collections, reduce denials, and optimize reimbursement.
  • Lead and mentor revenue cycle support staff, including:
    • Prior authorization specialists, Procedural schedulers, Referral coordinators and Front Office staff
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor reimbursement trends, revenue performance, and payer activity.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare executive-level dashboards and reports.
  • Identify underpayments and monitor payer compliance.

Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred.
Experience
  • 7+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing physician practice revenue cycle operations required.
  • Surgical specialty experience strongly preferred.
  • Ambulatory surgery center experience is a plus.
