Job description

Under the direct supervision of Assistant Director of Liaison and Analytics and according to established policies and procedures, the Lead Revenue Cycle Support Analyst performs routine analysis to evaluate and optimize revenue cycle processes and technology, with a primary focus on leveraging Epic and related systems. This role partners closely with Information Technology and Revenue Cycle Operations teams to streamline workflows, maximize system capabilities, and support departmental strategic and operational objectives. Maintains system specification and workflow documentation relevant to revenue cycle applications and processes. Acts as a liaison between IT and Revenue Cycle Operations, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure successful implementation and support of technology solutions related to revenue cycle functions. Participates in and/or leads department task forces, focus groups and/or committees as assigned by their supervisor to meet group objectives. Employs intermediate analytical and technical evaluative processes, managerial and interpersonal perspectives. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of USFTGP.

Work Experience and Additional Information

Minimum of five (5) plus ( ) years of healthcare revenue cycle related experience. Experience in Epic Professional Billing (PB) system support, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization. 

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance or Information Technology can replace three (3) years of required operational experience; an Associate's degree can replace one (1) year.
