Job description

The Sales Executive within our Tax & Accounting Professionals Audit Workflow segment is tasked with both retaining and expanding the existing client portfolio while also acquiring new accounts in their designated geographic region (this is a virtual position that demands exceptional telephone and written communication skills). The ideal candidate will exhibit a high degree of initiative and leverage strong business acumen to conduct comprehensive needs analyses for their accounts. To be effective, the Sales Executive must establish trust and credibility with all stakeholders by demonstrating deep knowledge of Thomson Reuters' products, services, and an understanding of the audit sector. Presentations are customized to address each client's specific requirements and proposals are clearly articulated using ROI justification to accelerate the sales process.

About the Role

  • Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis

  • Demonstrate the use of Audit products to the customer

  • Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration

  • Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations

  • Complete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner

  • Drive strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Customer Success Managers and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory

  • Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles

About You

  • Minimum 3 years successful SaaS sales experience in an Account Executive role

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Software as a Service Sales (SaaS) experience

  • Strong prospecting and closing skills

  • Strong time management and organization skills

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude

  • Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude

  • Collaborative, team player

  • High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethics
