Job Description: Parts Department Warehouse Associate
Position Summary
The Parts Department Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the efficient daily operations of the parts department, reporting directly to the Service Manager. This role is critical to keeping field operations running without delays-receiving, organizing, and distributing parts and supplies, performing administrative tasks, and assisting with warehouse and light transportation duties to ensure technicians and foremen have the necessary materials in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory
  • Check in incoming parts orders and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Put away stock parts, filters, and other inventory in the correct locations.
  • Sort received parts and place them in the appropriate technician bins.
  • Verify that parts are checked in accurately and delivered to the correct technicians.
  • Locate and retrieve stocked items upon technician request.
    Order Processing & Administration
  • Create purchase orders (POs) for parts returns.
  • Reconcile and finalize invoices for completed orders, and process returns.
  • Sort through emails daily for stock pulls and related requests.
  • Send completion/incompletion notifications to technicians and supervisors.
    Parts Pulling & Distribution
  • Pull parts from inventory for technicians and foremen.
  • Pull rigging and supplies for foreman deliveries.
  • Prepare supply orders for foreman.
    Warehouse & Facility Maintenance
  • Load and unload parts trucks and rigging.
  • Operate a forklift to pull warehouse items as required.
  • Maintain organization of the load/unload area and warehouse.
  • Keep the warehouse clean through general housekeeping.
    Transportation Support
  • Load parts trucks with orders and rigging.
    Customer/Vendor Interaction
  • Greet and direct vendors visiting the parts department.Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills (email, order processing systems).
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and handle parts and materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
