Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are seeking a Principal Conversational AI Architect to design and drive the next generation of our enterprise AI ecosystem. You will lead the technical strategy for intelligent, agentic systems that interface with complex financial data platforms. This role requires an expert who blends deep cloud-native architecture experience with modern large language model (LLM) orchestration to build secure, transparent, and highly accurate conversational solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud-native conversational AI platforms.
  • Agentic Workflows: Build robust tool-calling frameworks and multi-agent orchestration services.
  • Data Integration: Establish enterprise patterns for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to ground models in structured and unstructured business data.
  • Framework: Experience designing agentic workflows and tool-calling frameworks including:
    • Establish patterns for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
    • Define conversational orchestration services
    • Implement guardrails to prevent hallucinations and unauthorized data exposure
    • Design explainability frameworks for results presented and any financial calculations
  • AI Governance: Implement real-time guardrails to mitigate hallucinations, enforce safety, and prevent unauthorized data exposure.
  • Transparency & Trust: Design explainability frameworks that detail the reasoning behind AI decisions and audit trailing for complex financial calculations.
  • Collaboration: Partner with data engineering and product teams to translate financial workflows into intuitive conversational interfaces.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in IT Solution Architecture.
  • Cloud Expertise: 5+ years architecting and deploying cloud-native applications in enterprise environments (Azure and PCF Tanzu).
  • AI & LLM Mastery: 5+ years designing and implementing AI-enabled or LLM-enabled enterprise solutions.
  • Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of agentic workflows, prompt engineering, vector databases, and semantic search frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing, Snowpark, or Cortex AI features.
  • Domain Knowledge: Background in FinTech, specifically merchant acquiring, billing, enterprise commissions, or residual calculation platforms.
