Job description

THE ROLE

The Client Service Manager serves as the operational expert of the Diamond Team, partnering closely with Wealth Advisors and Wealth Associates to ensure every recommendation is implemented accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. Through technical expertise, proactive communication, and genuine care for clients, the Client Service Manager helps create the white-glove service experience that defines Seven Springs Wealth Group.

Success in this role extends beyond operational excellence. The most successful Client Service Managers are trusted problem solvers, relationship builders, and technical experts who take pride in creating confidence for both clients and teammates.

This role is designed for a professional who wants to build deep expertise and a long-term career in client service and wealth management operations. While Client Service Managers work closely with Wealth Advisors and Wealth Associates, the CSM career path is distinct from the firm's Wealth Advisor development path and is not intended as a stepping stone to an advisory role.

ABOUT SEVEN SPRINGS WEALTH GROUP

At Seven Springs Wealth Group, we believe exceptional wealth management begins with trusted relationships. Our clients look to us not only for financial expertise, but for thoughtful guidance through life's most important decisions. Every client relationship is supported by a collaborative Diamond Team of professionals who bring unique expertise while working together to deliver a seamless, personalized experience. For over twenty years, our mission has been to build deep and meaningful relationships with people and their wealth — so they can venture forward confidently.

PRIMARY AREAS OF OWNERSHIP

Deliver White-Glove Client Service

The Client Service Manager serves as a trusted resource for clients throughout their relationship with Seven Springs Wealth Group. Whether responding to a service request, coordinating account paperwork, or following up after a client meeting, the Client Service Manager ensures clients receive timely communication, thoughtful guidance, and an exceptional service experience. Every interaction matters.

While the Wealth Advisor leads planning conversations and recommendations, the Client Service Manager guides clients through implementation with professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building trusted relationships through proactive, responsive communication
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for ongoing client service requests
  • Following up after client meetings to coordinate next steps and implementation
  • Providing timely updates throughout the implementation process
  • Anticipating client needs and resolving issues before they become concerns
  • Delivering every interaction with professionalism, empathy, and exceptional attention to detail

Own Operational Excellence

The Client Service Manager is responsible for implementing advisor-approved recommendations accurately and efficiently while ensuring every operational detail is completed correctly. This role requires a deep understanding of custodial processes, documentation requirements, firm workflows, and regulatory requirements. Exceptional planning deserves exceptional execution.

The Client Service Manager does not determine financial planning or investment strategy. Instead, they transform those recommendations into a seamless implementation experience that gives clients confidence every detail has been handled correctly.

Responsibilities include

  • Processing new account openings, transfers, beneficiary updates, maintenance requests, and other custodial transactions
  • Coordinating advisor-approved money movement requests, including documentation, signatures, verification, tracking, and confirmation
  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting required forms for accuracy and completeness
  • Managing client requests from initiation through completion while proactively communicating status updates
  • Working directly with custodians to resolve operational questions and service issues
  • Ensuring all documentation meets firm and regulatory requirements

Be the Technical Expert

The Client Service Manager develops an expert-level understanding of custodial requirements, account documentation, operational procedures, and firm workflows. Wealth Advisors and Wealth Associates rely on this expertise to ensure recommendations are implemented accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with firm standards.

In many cases, the Client Service Manager will possess the deepest operational knowledge on the Diamond Team. Whether determining documentation requirements, navigating custodial procedures, or identifying implementation considerations, the Client Service Manager serves as the team's trusted operational resource.

Success in this role means continually expanding that expertise while helping strengthen the knowledge and efficiency of the entire firm. Technical expertise creates confidence.

Responsibilities include

  • Maintaining expert knowledge of Fidelity, Schwab, and other custodial processes
  • Understanding account registration requirements, documentation standards, and operational procedures
  • Guiding the advisory team through documentation requirements and implementation processes
  • Identifying potential operational issues before they impact clients
  • Serving as a trusted operational resource for Wealth Advisors and Wealth Associates
  • Sharing best practices that strengthen consistency and operational excellence across all Diamond Teams

Strengthen the Diamond Team

Each Client Service Manager is responsible for supporting their assigned Diamond Team while collaborating with fellow Client Service Managers to create consistent service standards, improve workflows, and share operational best practices across the firm.

Success requires mutual trust, proactive communication, shared accountability, and confidence in one another's expertise. Exceptional client service is the result of exceptional teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering closely with Wealth Advisors and Wealth Associates throughout the implementation process
  • Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities from start to finish
  • Providing proactive status updates and communicating potential issues early
  • Collaborating with fellow Client Service Managers to improve systems, processes, and operational consistency
  • Sharing knowledge, identifying efficiencies, and helping establish best practices across the firm
  • Supporting a collaborative culture where operational excellence is continually strengthened

Lead with Excellence

The Client Service Manager is expected to demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to finding better ways to serve clients. Success means not simply maintaining existing processes, but continually improving them.

Every enhancement, whether improving an internal workflow, identifying a more efficient process, or helping a teammate solve a challenge, strengthens both the client experience and the firm's ability to serve clients exceptionally well. Operational excellence requires continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency
  • Embracing technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, strengthen workflows, and enhance the client experience
  • Recommending process improvements that enhance both the client and team experience
  • Maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and fiduciary responsibility
  • Representing Seven Springs Wealth Group with professionalism in every client and team interaction

WHAT YOU BRING

Successful Client Service Managers combine operational expertise with exceptional client service skills. They enjoy solving problems, improving processes, building relationships, and ensuring every detail is handled with precision.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Experience supporting wealth management, financial planning, brokerage, banking, or a related professional environment
  • A technology-forward mindset with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new systems and AI-enabled tools
  • Strong knowledge of custodial operations and account servicing procedures
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy
  • A collaborative approach with a willingness to take ownership and improve processes
  • A passion for delivering white-glove client service and operational excellence

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured by the confidence you create – for clients, advisors, teammates, and the firm.

You know you are succeeding when:

  • Clients consistently receive responsive, accurate, and thoughtful service
  • Wealth Advisors and Wealth Associates trust you to execute recommendations accurately and efficiently
  • Fellow Client Service Managers view you as a knowledgeable resource and collaborative partner
  • Operational issues are anticipated and resolved before they become client concerns
  • Processes continue to improve because of your ideas, initiative, and technical expertise
  • Clients experience a seamless transition from planning to implementation
  • Your Diamond Team confidently relies on your expertise, organization, and commitment to excellence

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Annual variable compensation
  • Firm-sponsored health insurance via cafeteria plan
  • Highly competitive 401(k) with profit sharing plan

Our Commitment to Inclusion: Seven Springs Wealth Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where all team members feel seen, supported, and empowered. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
