What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.

As a Armed Consultant - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.
The Tactical Armed Consultant reports to the Project Manager!

What's in it for you:

  • Location and Site Type: Washington DC. Multi Story TV Media Headquarters Building.
  • On call only. Not guaranteed a schedule. The ideal candidate will be flexible to cover call offs, leave of absences, and emergency open posts of the armed team. Must have a valid driver's license for cases where driving a company vehicle is needed. Must pass a background, MVR, and social media check.
  • Competitive hourly wage is $40.00/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Armed Consultant
 

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Static/ standing posts included in patrol routes 
  • Threat assessment/mitigation

  • Plain clothes (business casual attire)
  • Must stand and walk for 8+ hours!
  • Must uphold grooming policy
  • CCTV camera monitoring experience
  • Must have experience with email and various other technology (smartphones, Outlook, Microsoft)
  • Perform standard security functions as needed as the armed presence on site provides general supervision of the security team. Reports to Project Manager

Qualifications of  the Tactical Armed Consultant

  • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Must be able to pass various background checks and a drug screening 
  • LEOSA Required (12+ Years Former Law Enforcement)
  • Minimum 12 years of Law Enforcement experience (Former Police Officer only)
  • Must possess a valid and active LEOSA credential that is not nearing expiration
  • Military experience is NOT accepted, unless Military Police with 12+ years active service
