Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, PA (ST&R) is a leading international trade law firm with offices in the United States, Hong Kong, and China. We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join the team in our Miami office.


Position Summary

The Billing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of invoices for various Billing Professionals. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and bill attorney hours and disbursements to clients
  • Review and edit proformas in response to attorney and admin requests
  • Apply retainer funds as directed by attorney
  • Process write-offs following Firm policy
  • Ability to understand Exception rates, Discounts, and Electronic Billing
  • Electronic submission of client invoices
  • Research and answers client accounting and billing questions
  • Review and enter new Clients and Matters into the billing system
  • Ability to manage high volume of invoices per month
  • Reviews and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

  • Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of e-billing system.
