What You’ll LeadAs Gonzales Thrift Store Manager, you’ll guide a mission-centered retail operation that funds St. Vincent de Paul’s charitable work while delivering a welcoming, efficient shopping and donation experience. You’ll be accountable for store performance, operational discipline, and a team culture rooted in service.Key responsibilities:- Direct daily store operations, sales execution, merchandising, and inventory controls- Coach, schedule, and develop employees and volunteers; set clear expectations and follow through on performance- Uphold customer service standards and support local marketing efforts to grow revenue and reach- Maintain strong store presentation, safety, cash handling, and compliance with established proceduresRequired qualifications:- High School Diploma/GED- 5+ years of retail management/supervisory experience (equivalent experience considered)- Valid driver’s license- Working knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google apps; strong math and data-entry skills- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (and 50+ lbs with assistance) and work weekends/holidays as neededIf you’re ready to lead with humility and excellence, apply today.Support That Matters- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance- Life Insurance- Health Savings Account (HSA)- Paid Time Off- Employee discountsA Day on the FloorYou’ll open with a quick walk-through of the sales floor and donation/warehouse areas, then align the team on the day’s priorities and service expectations.
