Job description

A retail pharmacist position is available at a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska. This part-time, contract role offers an ongoing assignment with a flexible schedule designed to accommodate both your availability and the pharmacy's operational needs.
Schedule:

  • Week 1: Sunday (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM), Tuesday (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Friday (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) - Total 24 hours
  • Week 2: Tuesday (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) - Total 17 hours
  • The Pharmacy Manager is open to adjusting the schedule based on candidate needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy
  • Provide patient counseling and medication guidance
  • Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Deliver excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment
Desired Qualifications:
  • Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt schedule as pharmacy needs evolve
  • Experience with McKesson Enterprise is a plus, but not required
