Location: Tice (Fort Myers, FL)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking motivated, high-potential professionals for the Retail Store Manager in Training role. This structured development position is designed to prepare future leaders to oversee all aspects of retail store operations while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community. Candidates will receive hands-on training across operational, financial, and people-management functions to build the skills needed for long-term success as a Retail Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in comprehensive training across all areas of retail store management.
  • Support oversight of daily store operations to ensure efficient, safe, and customer-focused performance.
  • Assist in achieving revenue, expense, and profit objectives aligned with store budgets.
  • Train and support team members to meet production goals, merchandise standards, and customer service expectations.
  • Promote mission integration and ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, business judgment, and interpersonal skills to meet store performance standards.
  • Maintain flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by store operations.
