Batteries Plus is seeking a full-time Retail Store Manager to join our team in Macon, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new location while becoming part of a team built on excellence, innovation, teamwork, and outstanding customer service. Offering $45,000 - $60,000 peryear and 2 weeks of paid time off per year, this role is ideal for a retail leader who is ready to contribute!This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including peak seasons and special events. The Retail Store Manager must be able to work at multiple store locations as needed and travel locally up to 15% of the time. THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FORHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with a clean driving record3+ years of retail management and supervisory experienceBasic understanding of accounting procedures and financial statementsBasic knowledge of electronics, including the ability to accurately read gauges and work with handsAbility to effectively manage confrontation in a controlled and courteous mannerAbility to calculate simple math, percentages, and ratiosAbility to become forklift certified (if not already)Ability to work at multiple store locations and travel locally up to 15% of the timeStrong verbal and written communication skillsPhysical ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift moreDegree in business or retail management (preferred)Commercial (outside) sales experience (preferred) YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A RETAIL STORE MANAGERAs a Retail Store Manager, you will lead by example while promoting a customer-first mentality throughout the store.
