Position Summary

The Grocery Overnight Clerk is responsible for stocking shelves with received merchandise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Process freight delivery,
  • Creates new displays sets end caps, stocks shelves, zone/face all isles,
  • Sorts grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags,
  • Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise,
  • Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed,
  • Maintaining inventory in stockroom,
  • Prominently display promotional merchandise,
  • Maintaining reports for overages, shortages and damages
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Able to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations as required.
  • LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work schedules are variables depending on the needs of price changes the schedules will be variable working from midnight.
