About the Role
Premium Retail Services, an Authorized Marketing Partner of Ziply Fiber, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Trainer to support the development and success of our Door-to-Door (D2D) sales teams. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding, training, coaching, and developing new and existing sales representatives to ensure consistent execution, strong product knowledge, and achievement of sales goals.
The ideal candidate is a passionate coach, experienced sales professional, and engaging facilitator who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment. You will play a critical role in driving sales performance and creating a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
Responsibilities
Training & Development
• Design and deliver engaging onboarding programs for new hire sales representatives.
• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions.
• Develop training materials including presentations, role-play exercises, job aids, and product guides.
• Ensure all sales representatives demonstrate proficiency in Ziply Fiber products, sales processes, and customer engagement techniques.
Coaching & Performance Management
• Conduct ride-alongs and in-field coaching sessions.
• Provide real-time feedback to improve presentation skills, objection handling, and closing techniques.
• Work closely with Regional Managers and Team Leads to identify performance gaps and create development plans.
• Reinforce best practices through ongoing coaching and refresher training.
Product & Sales Excellence
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Ziply Fiber products, promotions, and competitive positioning.
• Train representatives on prospecting, territory management, customer needs discovery, and consultative selling techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, client requirements, and brand standards.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to enhance training content.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Track trainee attendance, certification completion, and performance metrics.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, field observations, and sales performance data.
• Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership regarding training needs and opportunities.
• Continuously improve training programs to support business growth and changing market conditions.
Qualifications
Required Experience
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, internet, cable, or direct sales.
• 2+ years of training, coaching, or leadership experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience delivering presentations and facilitating group training sessions.
