Job description

Overview

Sugarloaf is looking to hire Retail Sales Associates for our upcoming winter season. A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for the provision of quality customer service and thorough product knowledge and will also perform the daily tasks of the retail operation. Our Retail Sales Associates are excited to help each and every guest with their needs.

Our Resort offers an array of retail outlets such as our DownHill Supply Company, Amos and Friends, the Sugarloafer Shop, Sugarloaf Cap Co, the Burton Store, and our LL Bean Store. Placement in one of these locations once hired is dependent upon candidate expertise, resort staffing needs, and availability for start date. Responsibilities
  • Give accurate and current information about the merchandise for all brands carried in assigned shop
  • Utilize the tools and training provided by Sugarloaf Resort to develop long-term customer relationships and increase sales
  • Develop strong knowledge of Sugarloaf Resort property as well as the surrounding area in order to be able to answer questions regarding area activities
  • Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude at all times
  • Take advantage of additional in-store and outside training opportunities offered
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task while greeting all guests promptly as they enter the store and hosting a warm atmosphere at all times

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will:
