Job description

The UNM Bookstore is looking for multiple retail Sales Assistants. This position is a key part of our team that we rely on to serve students, faculty, and community members on a daily basis. We offer a variety of retail departments right here on campus and are looking for a customer focused, energetic candidate.

While each department is unique, all Sales Assistants will assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email. They will become familiar with UNM Bookstore operations, computer systems, and merchandise. They will also perform data entry, clerical work, and POS functions as needed. In addition, Sales Assistants will maintain the sales floor by cleaning, stocking, and merchandising according to established guidelines. Sales Assistants will abide by UNM and Bookstore policies and procedures, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The UNM Bookstore offers a great, convenient place on campus to work and get real-life work skills.
