Job description

Summary

The Retail Systems Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate retail item, pricing, promotional, and vendor information across all express mart locations. This position supports retail operations by maintaining the price book, coordinating promotional and loyalty programs, resolving pricing and system discrepancies, and working with vendors, store teams, and leadership to ensure accurate and timely information. The Retail Systems Coordinator also supports inventory accuracy through store inventory audits, discrepancy research, and identification of opportunities to improve retail processes and controls.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00
Job Type: Full-time; Monday-Friday in office.

Essential Job Duties

  • Maintain accurate item, pricing, cost, vendor, and promotional information within the retail price book system, coordinating with vendors and internal departments to obtain and update UPCs, product information, new item setups, product changes, discontinuations, and retail pricing.
  • Analyze product additions, deletions, cost changes, and pricing exceptions; recommend retail price changes and work with the appropriate parties to resolve discrepancies.
  • Set up and maintain retail promotions, coupons, and loyalty promotions, coordinating with third-party providers as needed and monitoring promotional activity to ensure accurate and timely implementation at store level.
  • Monitor and correct invoice exceptions within batched processes and communicate item cost exceptions and unresolved discrepancies to the Supervisor.
  • Provide price book and retail system support to store teams, researching and resolving pricing, item, promotion, and point-of-sale issues.
  • Support promotional signage updates by maintaining accurate product images, pricing, discounts, and promotional information within established signage templates and brand standards.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and receiving errors, document findings, and work with store teams and leadership to identify causes and corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or automate repetitive retail system, price book, inventory, and merchandising processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy and integrity across retail systems and assist with testing or implementation of system and process changes.
  • Create, schedule, and maintain company social media content in coordination with appropriate departments to promote products, daily deals, job opportunities, company initiatives, and other relevant information.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in identifying more accurate, efficient, or automated ways to complete recurring processes.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Education and Knowledge

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in convenience store, retail, merchandising, inventory, or price book operations preferred.
  • Experience retail price book/POS system preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, preferred.
  • Experience with inventory auditing, inventory reconciliation, or retail receiving processes is a plus.
