Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Director of Integrated Media Strategy, the Retail Media Manager is responsible for the development of commerce media strategy across the enterprise. You will be responsible for strategy development, activation, optimization and measurement of Retail Media investment in partnership with external media agencies. Within this role, you will provide thought leadership and expertise to both Marketing and Sales on how to best solve critical business challenges through retail media strategy.

The consumer journey continues to experience constant change and is becoming increasingly fragmented. Retail media plays a vital role in unlocking business and omni-channel growth objectives and winning in this environment requires strong expertise in media, understanding of omni-channel commerce, consumer marketing, and analytics.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience within the Retail Media network, with an emphasis on Amazon. A successful Retail Media Manager is a versatile media expert who can leverage his/her expertise to maximize performance, optimize to maximize efficiencies and drive ROI.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the retail media practice within the Performance Marketing Center of Excellence team and provide thought leadership and strategic planning across key accounts utilizing a mix of tactics that drives growth.
  • Analyze, and interpret campaign performance data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for continuous optimization.
  • Establish and evolve key KPIs, benchmarks and best practices.
  • Drive results through rigorous optimizations and all KPIs are exceeding benchmarks.
  • Spearhead education needs for the greater organization when it comes to Retail Media by prioritizing relevant topics for learning materials as well as creating the content to be socialized.
  • Manage and evolve agency scope; oversee agency team and day-to-day execution as well as longer term, strategic projects.
  • Steward relationships with key retail media platforms to ensure success of our investments across all tactics, get access to emerging opportunities (ex: new tactics, technology, capabilities) and continue to test & learn to effect business impact.
  • Define Ways of Working across cross-functional teams and manage evolution based on business needs & changes.
  • Understand new and relevant KPI metrics requirements for performance management and optimization purposes.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies to proactively apply new knowledge.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Marketing and Sales to understand business objectives and translate these priorities into actionable retail media campaigns that drive demand and conversion.

    Required & Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5-7 years of experience of retail media network and hands-on-keys platform experience either in-house at a brand or through an advertising/media agency.
    • Experience with Amazon Ads and Amazon DSP required.
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
    • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across all internal stakeholders and outside vendors (includes verbal and written communication).
    • Solution-oriented, proactive thinker with the ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
    • Experience with Amazon SaaS, such as Pacvue is a plus.
    • Knowledge of other advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Advertising a plus.
    • Detailed oriented, organized and ability to multi-task.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Forecasting and budget management.

    Theanticipatedpay range for this position is$87,800-128,750annually.The actual base pay offeredwillvary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills,relevantexperience, business needs,andgeographic location.In addition to base pay, this positioniseligible foran annual discretionarybonus.
