About the Role 
Golden Grail Group is one of the Pacific Northwest's leading cannabis retailers, committed to providing outstanding customer experiences while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, professionalism, and teamwork. We're looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Shift Lead to join our dispensary team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership while continuing to work directly with customers.
As a Shift Lead, you'll help oversee daily operations, support and coach team members, maintain compliance with OLCC regulations, and ensure every customer receives exceptional service. If you enjoy leading by example, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Effectively lead the store when the Manager or Assistant Manager is not present. 
  • Lead each shift by example. 
  • Remain flexible and assist at other store locations when needed. 
  • Delegate duties and assign tasks appropriately. 
  • Ensure sales goals are met and exceeded. 
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. 
  • Ensure all local and state cannabis regulations are followed. 
  • Perform all Point of Sale (POS) duties. 
  • Oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house functions. 
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership. 
  • Manage opening and closing procedures. 
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Office as necessary. 
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. 

 
Requirements 
  • Must be 21 years of age or older. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • Ability to work independently or lead a team. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to listen and follow directions quickly and accurately. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time. 
  • Must have OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit to be considered for employment.  
    • (Reimbursed after completing 90 days of employment) 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Minimum 2 years of fast-paced retail experience. 
  • Previous management experience with demonstrated growth in responsibility. 
  • Working knowledge of OLCC cannabis regulations. 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 
  • Prior cannabis product knowledge. 

Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling. 
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
