Job description

The Retail Team Lead supports daily store operations while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean, and productive environment. This role provides leadership support in the absence of store management and ensures team members are properly trained and following company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, donors, and team members
  • Support daily retail operations, including opening and closing the store as needed
  • Train employees on job duties, equipment use, and safety procedures
  • Monitor store conditions and ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment
  • Conduct safety checks and report or correct hazards immediately
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and store needs
  • Assist in achieving sales goals and operational targets
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with Store Manager
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Report security issues, theft, or safety concerns immediately
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership support when Store Manager and Assistant Manager are not present
  • Assist with training, assigning work, and addressing team concerns
  • This position does not have authority to hire, terminate, or discipline employees unless directed by senior management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
