Job description

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is dedicated to furthering the ideals and promoting the welfare of the United States Military Academy (USMA), and to supporting and serving its graduates. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leader development institutions. The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400 and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a Part Time Retail Operations Keyholder. This position reports directly to the Director of Retail Operations.

The Keyholder will work in a continuous, fast-paced, exciting environment. Seasonally, weekend or weekday additional hours may be required. The incumbent will assist the Retail Manager and supervisory staff to manage daily operations to ensure achievement of the financial goals and objectives. At times, the incumbent will take on the managerial role independently as business need requires. The Keyholder will be responsible for delivering excellent customer services, maintaining store and departmental standards, shrinkage control, web fulfillment and stock receiving, and other duties as assigned. This position is technically and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work on ladders, lift up to 50 pounds and work on the sales floor for extended periods. At times, offsite work may be required in support of class reunions or similar sales or delivery opportunities.

Personal attributes must include excellent customer service and oral and written communications skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office. The incumbent must be able to rapidly become an expert in operating the Celerant point of sale and inventory management system. Excellent organization and time management skills are required. Additionally, incumbent must be able to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects at one time.

High School diploma or GED required. An Associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred but not required; retail experience is preferred. This is a 23-hour per week position that will pay between $19.00- $22.50 an hour based on skills and experience.
