Job description

Job Title:     Assistant Retail Operations Manager

Locations:     Store #65 Kennedale --- 3200 Basswood Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 

Salary:     $17.52 per hour

Work Hours:   FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Days and hours vary, Monday through Sunday with two days off

Benefits:      Company paid basic term life, Paid Time Off, voluntary medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and 401(k).

General Job Duties:    Assist the retail store manager with all daily operation of store to ensure goals are met on a monthly basis. Assist team members, and customers on sales floor and at cashier’s desk; ability to make correct change.  Assist in the opening and closing of the store.  Supervise and manage activities related to accepting, sorting, categorizing, pricing and distributing of donated goods; maintain a safe, secure and clean work environment. 

Physical Requirements:  Sufficiently mobile to work in the entire facility and grounds as well as the ability to travel to corporate or other locations, as requested. May be required to stand or be in a stationary position for long periods of time.

Skills/Qualifications:   Must have 2 years’ experience in a retail operation which includes at least one year with supervisory responsibilities. Strong math and communication capabilities with leadership skills demonstrated in previous employment and/or position. Must be able to adapt and manage change. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and other team members, coach/train peers or team members and guide team members with disabilities and the disadvantaged.   Must have proven computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to use Point-of-Sale (POS), operate Credit Card Draft Capture Terminal and to instruct employees in the proper use of same. Operate computerized pricing and inventory system. Open availability to work varying schedule one hour prior to store opening and one hour after store closing 7 days a week.
