Overview:

The Inventory Associate is responsible for assisting with the receipt, processing, and organization of inventory at the cannabis retail store. This role includes ensuring products are received and logged correctly, assisting with daily counts, and maintaining the organization of all inventory storage areas. Associates are also expected to support all inventory best practices as laid out by the inventory Manager, emphasizing accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all inventory-related activities.ย  The Associate must follow all compliance guidelines and help maintain an accurate account of all products. Associates are encouraged to show initiative in daily activities without supervisor prompting once trained, contributing to a proactive and efficient inventory management process.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving and verifying incoming products.
  • Tag and label inventory and update system records.
  • Perform daily counts and update inventory tracking systems.
  • Ensure product storage is organized and compliant with regulations.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage areas.
  • Participate in weekly inventory audits.
  • Report any product issues or discrepancies to the Inventory Supervisor.
  • Support inventory control measures to prevent loss.
  • Engage in regular training to stay updated on product knowledge and compliance.
  • Assist in the rotation of stock adhering to the first-in-first-out (FIFO) method.
  • Participate in Monthly overnight audits, contributing to comprehensive assessments of inventory accuracy and compliance. This is a vital part of ensuring the integrity and reliability of inventory records and processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
  • Previous inventory experience, ideally in a retail setting.
  • Ability use a computer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ย 
  • Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.ย 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task. ย 
  • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.ย 
  • Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have no scheduling restrictions.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment background checks.

Physical Requirements:ย
