Job description

Company Description:
Farmers Insurance District 04, a President's Council district, supports more than 30 established agencies across the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and ranks in the top 1% of districts nationwide. The district focuses on helping agency owners grow their businesses while recruiting and mentoring new entrepreneurs who want to build their own agencies. Its leaders are recognized for best-in-class customer service, strong business performance, and commitment to Farmers Insurance's values and long-term goals. With almost 100 years of experience and 19 million customers, Farmers Insurance is a trusted provider of Auto, Home, Business, and Life Insurance. District 04 offers tools, training, and ongoing support to help agents deliver exceptional service and protection to their clients.
Role Description
The CEO / Build Your Business role is a full-time on-site position based in Fort Worth, TX, focused on launching and growing a Farmers Insurance agency. This opportunity is not for everyone. It is a challenging opportunity for proven sales leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs who have had or are having a successful career and are looking to build something for themselves.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, building and leading a team, nurturing client relationships, and expanding the agency's presence in the local market. The role also involves creating and implementing marketing and community engagement initiatives to drive new business and retain existing customers. The individual will collaborate closely with District 04 leadership to leverage available tools, training, and mentorship to build a sustainable, high-performing agency.
Requirements
Your Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability in Finance and Business Planning to manage budgets, revenue targets, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Have an Enterprise Mindset: you invest in marketing; you purchase quality consumer leads; you recruit exceptional producers; you leverage technology and data to your advantage as well as develop strong, symbiotic relationships with other leaders in their communities such as: Mortgage professionals; Realtors; Banking professionals; Financial advisors; Commercial lenders; CPAs; Attorneys; Chamber of Commerce organizations; Local business owners; Other Centers of Influence in the community.
  • Proven track record in Sales, including developing pipelines, closing deals, and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a leadership role, but it all begins with sales.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of initiative, accountability, and comfort with business ownership responsibilities.
  • The Capital and belief system to understand that to invest in competitive compensation for the best salespeople is critical to success as well as the business acumen to grasp that quality data/ lead generation is the Oxygen of the Agency.
  • Knowledge of or interest in the insurance industry; prior experience in insurance, financial services, or related fields is beneficial, but not required. We are looking to meet experienced professionals who are exploring what's next and want to understand whether Agency ownership could be the right move.
