Short Intro and About the Job
Mission
Responsible for developing relationships with Key Decision Makers (KDMs) within a geographic territory encompassing approximately 30-40 Mass & Grocery Stores to increase sales of Danone. RSRs are expected to make sales calls to the stores within their territories each workday for the purpose of making sales and meeting or exceeding other sales-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Responsibilities
  • Store Level Sales Execution: Execute and close sales calls for assigned store accounts in respective areas to achieve target sales goals.
    • Manage the timely execution of all sales programs and initiatives to ensure maximum sales and profitability for the Danone and the retailer.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase sales, space and productivity in an account while maintaining satisfactory customer service. (e.g. store choice displays, cross-merch outside dairy)
    • Maintain appropriate product inventory levels, and ensure accounts meet company merchandising standards.
    • Transport, replace and maintain point of sale advertising as appropriate for accounts.
    • Place Point of Sale (POS) materials and leverage to drive incremental sales/share of shelf.
    • Secure, build and maintain quality product displays within store accounts.
    • Execute market sales blitzes
  • Meet or Exceed Sales-Related KPI Targets Related To:
    • Increasing Sales of Authorized Products: Maintain distribution of all authorized products within assigned territory and increase sales of those products to assigned store accounts.
    • Pre-Selling Inventory For Everyday and Promotional Events: Leverage relationships with KDMs in order to secure pre-sales of inventory for scheduled promotional programs and events. Ensure customer compliance with promotional programs.
    • Selling Additional Share of Shelf/Holding Power. Leverage relationships with KDMs to achieve more advantageous shelf positioning and increased shelf space.
  • Build and maintain rapport with store KDMs (e.g., the Dairy Manager, General Manager and Assistant Managers) to meet and exceed sales expectations and sales-related KPIs. Be the Dairy Manager's 'first call'. Be the store's dairy expert.
  • Represent the store-level customer point of view internally with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Input retail activity into scorecard tablet and managing KPI scorecard for respective area.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. • 1-2 years sales experience preferred
• 1-2 years Consumer Packed Goods experience preferred
