If you thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, we invite you to join our team at The Arrangement—a leading luxury furniture store specializing in Rustic Modern designs under the visionary direction of Sustainable Interior Designer, Katherine Snedeker.

As a Retail Design Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in offering personalized design solutions while delivering outstanding service. You’ll work closely with clients to transform their visions into reality, helping them find the perfect pieces that fit their home’s aesthetic. You will also collaborate with our team to uphold the high standards and quality that The Arrangement is known for.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Luxury Service: Create an elevated, personalized experience for clients through expert product knowledge and tailored design solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with walk-in clientele, qualifying their needs and offering bespoke design recommendations.
  • Design Expertise: Educate clients on design principles and the craftsmanship behind our unique Rustic Modern furniture, ensuring each client feels informed and valued.
  • Order Management: Own all phases of the client experience, from initial consultation to order processing and delivery, ensuring a seamless journey.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Drive sales through strong client relationships, meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
  • Showroom Presentation: Maintain a beautifully organized showroom that reflects our brand’s luxurious aesthetic and design philosophy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the interior design team to ensure clients’ design needs are met, collaborating on large-scale projects and custom solutions.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in high-end retail, luxury furniture, or a design-related field preferred (Interior Design, Architecture, or Art).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with an ability to engage clients and maintain long-term connections.
  • Ability to think strategically and act with mental agility in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MacOS, and Google Suite; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the luxury furniture industry is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and move small to medium items up to 25 lbs. safely.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, as well as bend, twist, squat, kneel, and climb as necessary.
  • Licensed to drive preferred, with the ability to travel locally or out of state as required.
