Job description

United Water Restoration Group of Omaha is hiring a Business Developer to grow strategic referral partnerships across the Omaha market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, face-to-face networking, and turning trust into revenue.
When water, fire, mold, or storm damage disrupts homes and businesses, United Water Restoration responds fast—and we rely on strong local partnerships to make that happen. Your job is to build, grow, and maintain those partnerships.
This is a full-time, salary + uncapped commission role with clear performance expectations, strong support, and significant earning potential.

What You’ll DoAs a Business Developer, you are responsible for generating qualified opportunities by building profitable referral relationships with businesses that regularly encounter property damage.
Your focus will include (but is not limited to):
  • Developing and managing an assigned territory of referral partners such as:
    • Plumbers and plumbing supply houses
    • HVAC companies
    • Property managers (HOA, multi-family, commercial)
    • Insurance agents and adjusters
    • Roofers, inspectors, and other industry influencers
  • Conducting daily in-person marketing routes and follow-ups
  • Hosting and attending Breakfasts, Lunch & Learns, CE classes, and networking events
  • Acting as a consultant and trusted advisor, not a salesperson
  • Driving qualified, warm leads into the company pipeline
  • Representing United Water Restoration at trade shows, community events, and industry functions
  • Logging all activity, contacts, and leads in the CRM accurately and consistently
  • Supporting brand awareness through light social media content and partner engagement
  • Participating in marketing meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance check-ins

Performance ExpectationsThis role is activity-driven and results-measured. Success is clearly defined.
First-Year Revenue Target:
  • TBD at in-person meeting
Minimum Ongoing KPIs:
  • 3+ marketing routes per week
  • 4 Breakfast/Lunch & Learn events per month
  • 2+ networking events per month
  • 3+ social media touchpoints per week
  • Consistent CRM documentation
You’ll be provided with a scorecard and structured training to support these goals

Who You AreThe ideal candidate is:
  • Highly personable, professional, and confident in face-to-face environments
  • Comfortable walking into businesses, starting conversations, and following up
  • Organized, accountable, and consistent with CRM usage
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Self-motivated with a long-term mindset for relationship-based sales
  • Results-driven but people-first
Preferred Experience (not required):
  • B2B sales, field marketing, or business development
  • Home services, restoration, construction, plumbing, HVAC, or insurance
  • Networking groups, trade organizations, or community outreach

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary + % commission on collected revenue from your leads

  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance (after eligibility period)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid holidays and PTO
  • Full training, systems, and support

Why United Water Restoration?
  • 24/7 emergency services with 1-hour response times
  • Industry-leading equipment and in-house capabilities
  • Certified technicians and full insurance support
  • Proven systems, structured training, and clear expectations
  • A relationship-focused culture that rewards performance and integrity
If you enjoy building real relationships, being out in the community, and creating long-term value—not just chasing transactions—this role is for you.
