Restorative Assistant information

How does a restorative assistant typically collaborate with dental hygienists and dentists during patient care?

Restorative Assistants work closely with both dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth and efficient patient care. Communication and teamwork are essential, as Restorative Assistants often anticipate the needs of the dental team, hand off instruments, and help manage patient comfort. This collaborative environment helps maintain a high standard of care and ensures procedures run smoothly.

They assist with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and daily living activities under the supervision of licensed therapists or nurses. Their role is crucial in helping individuals recover after illness or injury, maintain independence, and prevent further decline in function.
