Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA

We are offering a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment) for the Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA. 

This is a casual position.

Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.

Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

Rehabilitation services are dedicated to helping individuals achieve their highest level of independence and bridging the transition from illness to wellness at home and community, by emphasizing the restoration of mobility and function. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant COTA provides quality Occupational Therapy services including direct care and treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary environment at Lutheran SeniorLife facilities/agencies including, as assigned, skilled nursing facilities, LIFE programs, home health and/or outpatient clinics.

Qualifications

for Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred. Working knowledge of computer software required for documentation and communication.
  • Maintains current PA License as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, including meeting continuing education requirements.
