Contents Restoration Supervisor/Technician
The Contents Supervisor assists in the technical activities necessary to restore or repair commercial and residential personal properties damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold, bio-hazard and other factors. Must responds to job sites as directed, and performs all tasks in accordance with company and industry certified standards.
As the Manager in the Contents Department you will be responsible for the oversight and management of the Contents Department. to include overseeing the estimating and execution on all personal property mitigation and contents work involving the removal, cleaning and storage of contents. Will provide direction and coordination of field activities related to the installation teams and any coordinated subcontracts, estimating the loss of the entire project through the use of Xactimate, managing the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle, and securing any unique materials, and/or equipment required to complete the project.
  • Using Xactimate and/or Simbility software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, wind and mold contents removal, cleaning and storage projects
  • Responding to property damage emergency calls Negotiating contents services and insurance claims settlements
  • Planning, organizing and managing crews and subcontractors Establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Attending all appropriate company meeting and company sponsored training sessions
  • Participate in special projects as needed Skills and Experience Requirements: 3-4 years emergency restoration (Fire, Water, Smoke, Mold) experience preferred
  • IICRC Certification Ability to work both independently and as a team Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability in problem-solving
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Practice safe and efficient work techniques to minimize potential injuries and hazardous conditions.
  • Participate in safety meetings and inspections.
  • Ensure that material areas are kept neat and orderly.
  • Maintain acceptable levels of housekeeping at all times with regard to equipment and assigned work area and/or department.
  • Follow Rainbow uniform policy
  • Utilize Rainbow 17 Steps to World Class Customer Service System
  • Photograph, identify, and inventory customer's contents
  • Wrap, package, and label contents for transport to cleaning facility
  • Unwrap, assess, and clean contents
  • Identify, re-wrap, package, and label cleaned contents
  • Maintain inventory of all processed contents and disposition

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to understand and follow directions and relay those directions to the other Team members
  • Possess a positive attitude and bring it to work everyday
  • Possess strong communication skills, verbal and written. Applicants must be fluent in English (Spanish speaking a plus)
