Job Summary
Voda Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a skilled and motivated Team Lead/Crew Chief to oversee the daily operations of our Carpet Cleaning and Water Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation, Fire/Smoke Restoration crews. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Team Lead will ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, as the Team Lead will work alongside the team in the field to provide leadership, maintain quality standards, and deliver excellent customer service.
 

Team Lead/Crew Chief Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the carpet cleaning and water restoration teams, ensuring efficient project completion.
  • Act as the point of contact between field teams and the Operations Manager, providing updates on project progress and addressing any challenges.
  • Perform hands-on fieldwork, assisting with carpet cleaning and water restoration jobs as needed to ensure quality and smooth operations.
  • Conduct on-site training for team members, focusing on techniques, safety procedures, and proper equipment use.
  • Inspect completed projects to ensure adherence to IICRC standards, company protocols, and client expectations.
  • Ensure team compliance with OSHA regulations, safety policies, and company standards, and maintain proper safety documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in managing schedules, tracking inventory, and maintaining equipment in good working order.
  • Complete and oversee job-related documentation, including work orders, client records, and project notes.

Team Lead/Crew Chief Qualifications
Preferred Certifications:
 

  • IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) with specialties in:
    • WRT (Water Restoration Technician)
    • OSHA 10 Certification (OSHA 30 preferred).

Requirements:
 

  • 2-4 years of experience in water restoration or carpet cleaning.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams in the field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
