) Restorative Director
RYZE West is seeking an experienced and dedicated Restorative Director to lead and oversee our restorative nursing program. This role is responsible for promoting residents' highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through individualized restorative programs, staff education, and consistent program oversight.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the facility's restorative nursing program in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assess residents for restorative needs and ensure appropriate programs are initiated, maintained, and updated.
  • Collaborate with Nursing, Therapy, MDS, and other interdisciplinary team members to support individualized resident care plans.
  • Supervise, train, and educate restorative aides and nursing staff on restorative techniques, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor resident progress and make recommendations or adjustments to restorative programs as needed.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of restorative services and resident progress.
  • Support MDS assessments and care planning related to restorative nursing programs.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor restorative equipment and ensure it is properly maintained, utilized, and stored.
  • Promote resident independence, mobility, function, and quality of life through effective restorative programming.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate concerns or recommendations to nursing leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Active RN or LPN license required.
  • Previous restorative nursing or rehabilitation experience in a skilled nursing facility required.
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or restorative program management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of restorative nursing programs, MDS processes, care planning, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to educate and motivate staff while working effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach with a commitment to promoting resident independence and quality of life.
