Job description

Andrew's Construction is seeking a Sr. Mitigation Technician / Restoration Project Manager with sales and business development experience or construction build back experience. This position performs and manages the technical activities necessary to restore or repair commercial and residential properties damaged by water, mold, fire, smoke and bio-hazard. Performs work with a high degree of professionalism and integrity that is in line with the company's core values. This opportunity has the potential to lead to the Restoration team manager.Responsibilities:The Sr Mitigation Technician is responsible for performing and providing technical direction for jobs and projects involving water, mold, fire, smoke, and bio-hazard.

  • Responds to daily emergency services such as water, fire, and smoke damage jobs.
  • Responsible for the extraction of water from flooded structures using commercial extraction equipment.
  • Removing of damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, drywall, etc.
  • Takes moisture readings, measurements, sets up commercial drying equipment.
  • Assist's in the scheduling and ensuring personnel are responding and performing job functions, and are completing paper work accurately and completely
  • Duties include ensuring that demolition is completed and debris removal has been completed.
  • Oversee projects and ensures sewage cleanup is completed and follows IICRC standards
  • Structural drying and content cleaning is to industry standards
  • Provide accurate and detailed measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other documentation, as required for each job
  • Reviewing of documentation and paperwork to see if complete and correct
  • Be the technical and go-to person with regards to water damage losses
  • Restoration Sales and Business Development experience is a plus

Job Requirements:

  • IICRC Certification/Encircle - Xactimate Experience Preferred
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 75-100lbs
  • Participate in 24-hour emergency on call rotation
  • Comply with all safety regulations
  • Excellent customer service and technical skills.
  • Must have prior experience in water damages and mold remediation.
