Location: Presque Isle, ME

Schedule: Full-Time / Days: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, Occasional Weekends

Payrate: $16.00 - $18.00/hr

Job Description

Immediate opening for a Deli Associate in Presque Isle. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced food service environment and providing excellent customer service. Previous deli, food service, or retail experience is preferred, but not required.

The Deli Associate will be responsible for preparing and serving deli items, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Employees will assist customers with selections, slice meats and cheeses, prepare ready-to-eat foods, and restock inventory. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a friendly attitude toward customers and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, slice, and package deli meats, cheeses, and other products.
  • Assist customers with orders and provide friendly, prompt service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of deli area, equipment, and display cases.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Monitor product freshness and rotate stock as needed.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients throughout shift.
  • Operate deli equipment such as slicers and scales safely and efficiently.
