Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate is responsible for the following:

Order-Pick-Pack-Ship: Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked, packed and shipped efficiently and accurately. Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment. Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested. Process all packed orders through ERP/WMS and follow all procedures on required fields being populated

Repack: Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary. Report quality variances.

Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Daily incoming packages of pharmaceutical and medical surgical products to be signed, counted, received and stored in the proper areas in inventory.  Special emphasis on controlled substances to be priority. Maintaining of all shipping containers as to ensure proper packaging and handling of products, especially in times of extreme heat and cold.

Equipment: Operate MHE in performance of order filling duties when required. On a regular basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment if necessary.

Inventory: Developing a steady flow for picking product by picking sequence by warehouse. At the same time allowing for adding and deleting of picking sequences based upon usage. Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories as required. Restock inventory by appropriate locations and expiration dates to avoid stock out situations.

Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with GMP & OSH standards.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position preferred. The Warehouse Associate must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. He/she must be able to operate a hand held scanner, pallet jack, and radio frequency equipment. The Warehouse Fulfillment Associate must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Frequent reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing. The ability to follow directions is

extremely important. Ability to lift 75lbs is required.
