Job description

The Restaurant Server ensures a polished and professional dining experience by providing attentive, accurate, and courteous service to all guests. This role directly impacts guest satisfaction, repeat business, and the overall reputation of the dining establishment.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

  • Greet guests warmly and serve beverages such as ice water and coffee upon arrival.
  • Present menus, suggest dinner courses, recommend wines, and answer questions about food preparation.
  • Take and relay orders to the kitchen or bar, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Garnish and decorate dishes before serving and occasionally serve directly from platters.
  • Monitor diners’ needs and respond promptly to additional requests or concerns.
  • Total bills and process payments, or direct guests to the cashier as needed.
  • Replenish supplies and prepare stations for subsequent meals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
