As a Restaurant Server you'll be at the heart of our guest experience, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a natural flair for hospitality. As the Restaurant Server you will:

โ€ข Be a Friendly Face - arriving at work on time to get the restaurant/lounge/cafe set up and ready to open, keeping the area clean and attractive throughout the meal period. As the outlet closes, all cleaning duties โ€“ floors, tables, buffet as well as sidework duties. - are also part of your role.

โ€ข Be a Host as well as a Server โ€“ pouring water, upselling food & beverage, making helpful suggestions, answering questions, remembering names or favorite choices, offering a friendly smile โ€“ and maybe even a weather forecast or a local attraction suggestion โ€“ is all part of the job.

โ€ข Be a Food Professional โ€“ understand the food and beverage you are serving so you know what you are speaking about; offer prompt, excellent service to create a wonderful dining experience for the guest; handle cash/credit accurately and timely.

โ€ข Be a Safety & Security Agent โ€“ follow your hotelโ€™s established safety and security policies & procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed.

Job Requirements

A high school education or equivalent preferred and at least one year of progressive experience in food & beverage required as is a ServSafe or Tips certification. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, as needed. Medium work โ€“ Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time without sitting or leaning. Must possess fluency in English and be able to work in stressful, high pressure situations, and must possess the ability to multi-task on a regular basis.
