ROLE SUMMARY:
Opening this Fall, Lady Delilah is currently hiring experienced and talented Server Assistants. The Server Assistant will provide personalized and immaculate guest service and an elegant dining experience by anticipating and providing for all guest needs/requests. They will assist in cleaning and resetting tables as well as maintaining cleanliness in common areas of the restaurant. Server Assistants will also assist servers with all aspects of service as required. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast- paced environment. Open availability is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate the needs of customers and other team members.
  • Assists servers with food amp;beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains cleanliness of stations with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, condiments, and bottled beverages.
  • Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
  • Responsible for keeping the back of the restaurant clean and organized.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory and proper condition of equipment and operating supplies.
  • Communicates with management, and all other service staff regarding all customer needs comments or incidents.
  • Cleans all spills immediately and notifies other staff members about potential hazards.
  • Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A valid NY Certified Food Handlers card is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Previous relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant is preferred.
  • Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
  • Must have high energy, great communication skills, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.
