Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a part-time Host / Hostess to ensure that guests are cheerfully greeted upon arrival and seated as efficiently as possible. Do you have a warm demeanor and strong customer service skills? Are you looking for a part-time job where you will be recognized for your hard work and attention to detail? Our Hosts / Hostesses at Cherokee earn a competitive wage of $17.00/hour based on experience. We also offer free meals while on duty, free parking, a work uniform, employee golf available on most Mondays, employee recognition opportunities, employee appreciation events, and a MARTA discount. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOST / HOSTESS 

As a Host / Hostess, you greet each Member or Guest with a smile as soon as they walk into our restaurant, communicate wait times clearly, and escort them to their table as soon as it is ready. With an eye for detail and great organizational skills, you make sure that the seating of our guests is efficient so that we can decrease wait times. Using our digital waitlist, Tables Ready, you are able to keep track of those that are waiting to be seated. Your positive attitude is contagious, even on busy nights when wait times are longer.

When there are online reservations, you make sure that tables are set and ready for them. Answering dining room phones, you take messages and answer questions using your knowledge of our operating hours and other pertinent club information. You do your best to accommodate any special needs or requests with superb customer service. In your downtime, you handle the upkeep of menus which includes switching dirty pages, keeping kids' menus in stock, etc. You enjoy getting to interact with so many people during each shift and pride yourself in setting the tone for each dining experience!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous      experience as a Host/Hostess. 
  • Open      Availability is a must.  This includes weekends.
  • Fine      Dining restaurant experience preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE

Our restaurants are open Tuesday - Sunday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so a variety of shifts are available. Most holidays are required.
