The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, inspire their team, and lead with thoughtful hospitality that ensures every moment of the guest experience is warm, intentional and aligned with our standards of excellence and care.
Pay Rate: $65,000-$75,000 per year
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
Guest Experience & Service Standards
o Deliver a warm, elevated guest experience across spa and dining venues in accordance with Forbes and Mirbeau service standards
o Ensure prompt, efficient, and elevated food & beverage service across all dining venues property-wide
o Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spa offerings, menus, and room packages to confidently guide guest interactions
o Promote positive guest relations by addressing concerns, special requests, and complaints with professionalism and discretion
o Recognize and appropriately manage intoxicated or disruptive guests, always prioritizing guest and staff safety
o Monitor and respond to guest reviews as appropriate to maintain service excellence and brand reputation
o Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to align F&B operations with property-wide guest service, ensuring an elevated guest experience that consistently reflects Mirbeau's refined hospitality standards
Daily Operations & Floor Management
o Oversee daily FOH operations across all venues, adjusting service flow and staffing as needed to meet business volume
o Manage restaurant reservations, monitor guest flow, and create effective floor plans to optimize seating and service
o Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all service stations and dining areas throughout each shift
o Maintain a thorough understanding of all food & beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards
o Safely manage allergy-related requests and ensure team members follow proper allergy protocols
Team Leadership, Development & Performance
o Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, and dining assistants to ensure consistent adherence to service, appearance, and professionalism standards
o Assign, monitor, and verify completion of FOH sidework, shift readiness, and proper close-out procedures, including staff cash-outs
o Collaborate with BOH teams to ensure seamless service execution
o Conduct regular training sessions and staff meetings to strengthen product knowledge, sales performance, and guest service standards
o Provide real-time coaching and mentorship that reinforces service standards, recognizes strong performance, and addresses areas of opportunity through supportive, solutions-focused conversations
o Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement
o Collaborate with HR and leadership to address performance and disciplinary matters in a fair, consistent manner
Administrative, Financial & Compliance Responsibilities
o Attend scheduled management meetings, special events, and Banquet Event Order (BEO) reviews (as required)
o Create, format, and maintain all active food and beverage menus, ensuring accuracy, consistency, grammar, layout, and print readiness
o Lead cocktail development in collaboration with FOH staff, managers, and the Director of Food & Beverage, in alignment with Mirbeau beverage guidelines
o Create and manage FOH schedules that support business forecasts, service standards, and payroll budgets
o Utilize the POS system for sales, check processing, corrections, voids, disputes, and end-of-day reporting
o Configure and maintain back-end systems (POS and reservation platforms), including menu updates, pricing changes, and employee setup
o Monitor inventory and par levels of china, glassware, silver, linens and all other operational supplies, ensuring clean and organized storage areas
o Adhere to all accounting and purchasing procedures, including invoice coding, budgeting, purchasing controls, and month-end inventory
o Review and analyze financial performance through daily sales and labor reports, monthly P&L statements, and departmental budgets
o Attend management meetings, BEO reviews, and special events as required
o Ensure consistent adherence to Mirbeau HR policies, payroll procedures, and operational standards
o Maintain full compliance with all federal, state, and local labor, health and sanitation regulations
Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:
Education & Experience
o Associate's degree or higher required; a degree in Hospitality or related field is strongly preferred
o Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a high-volume, fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
o Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the Food & Beverage industry
