Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Admin Support Specialist provides general support to the IT department. The role is active in providing administrative support for end-users by coordinating support requests, resetting passwords, tracking resolution of issues, and service coordination for software and hardware requests. Manage vendor relationships, invoice reconciliation, and contract facilitation.
COMPENSATION RANGE: $17-20 per hour depending on experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Act as the first point of contact for associates experiencing hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Oversee and delegate IT Tickets for Bass Pro Shops Hospitality IT Helpdesk, frequently handling level 1 tickets and escalating more serious or advanced ticket requests.
  • Main point of contact of assisting associates with password resets and other software related questions.
  • May assist with IT department invoices, submitting expense reports, and monitoring technology budgets.
  • Responsible to ensure IT Department supplies and services are available and ready to be used, including office supplies, hardware, overall department organization, etc.
  • Arrange and facilitate department activities, team meetings, etc.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Degree: Associate Degree in IT (if applicable)
  • Years of experience: 1-3 years in an admin role preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products - including Sharepoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of software products.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Local travel only
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly sits and works on a computer.
Occasionally stands, walks, and lifts up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
