POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Responsible for FOH operations at Jones Oyster Co.
  • Work with the leadership team to create strategic plans aimed at growing the business through excellent operational execution and sales growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Including but not limited to)
  • Participation in the interview process as well as the hiring, training, development, and retention of qualified associates.
  • Facilitation and involvement in the scheduling, conducting, and documentation of employee performance reviews according to standard operating procedure.
  • Identifying, training and developing key associates for growth, advancement, and promotion in an effort to foster team-building morale.
  • Promote teamwork among co-workers and employees.
  • Uphold applicable policies and requirements of employment laws.
  • Become proficient in all job functions of both front and back-of-house employees.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Table 301 Employee Handbook, employee benefits, Law of Value, and company philosophies.
  • Complete projects as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Resolve guest complaints and problems effectively and courteously by responding with empathy, professionalism and patience.
  • Perform a pre-shift line up to ensure team readiness.
  • Work with kitchen to ensure timely and accurate ticket times.
  • Maintain food quality standards including consistency and presentation.
  • Identify and communicate inventory and equipment needs to ordering manager.
  • Communicate repair and maintenance needs to appropriate repair source.
  • Management of inventory and procurement.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly with all associates, managers, partners and guests.
  • Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and sometimes stressful work environment.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
