Job description

Position Summary:
Designs and supports ODAS data extraction, transformation, load, reconciliation, data-refresh, BI Publisher, and Spotfire processes across production, development, and QA environments.
Primary responsibilities
  • Assess source systems, define source-to-target mappings, and design modular, parameter-driven ETL workflows.
  • Automate hands-free extraction, transformation, validation, loading, reconciliation, exception handling, retry/restart, and notification processes.
  • Schedule recurring one-to-many model loads during non-business hours and support on-demand refreshes.
  • Implement reconciliation using record counts, control totals, hash totals, duplicate/null checks, referential-integrity checks, and exception reports.
  • Support BI Publisher datasets/reports, Spotfire web reports/data connections, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, model changes, and new-model onboarding.
  • Maintain lineage, version control, deployment procedures, runbooks, and operational dashboards.

Required qualifications
  • 8+ years of Oracle data warehouse and ETL design/development experience.
  • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills and experience with large, complex data loads.
  • Experience automating recurring ETL and data-refresh workflows across production and non-production environments.
  • Hands-on reconciliation, data-quality, restart/recovery, logging, scheduling, and performance-optimization experience.
  • Experience supporting BI Publisher and Spotfire, or closely comparable enterprise reporting and visualization platforms.

Preferred qualifications
  • Oracle Data Integrator, GoldenGate, Informatica, Python-based ETL, OAC/OBIEE, or Autonomous Database experience.
  • Experience supporting investigative, audit, grants, financial, or regulatory analytics.
  • Experience with unstructured data, social-media data, or big-data integration.
