TURQUOISE PLACE LINE COOK
Position handles all food preparation in the kitchen to include preparing food for cooking, frying, sautéing, baking, etc. as well as productivity, sanitation, quality and presentation of the food.
Job Duties
  • Performing food preparation duties
  • Following recipes, mixing, weighing, measuring ingredients
  • Maintain stock and clean work station
  • Keeping the kitchen area & equipment clean and sanitized
  • Performing duties efficiently to prepare dishes in the appropriate time
  • Ability to perform all functions in the kitchen
  • Be able to ensure excellent quality of food
  • Be involved in monthly inventory and invoicing.
  • Ensure that the kitchen and restaurant are clean, organized and maintained up to standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of cook experience, preferred
  • ServSafe certification, preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift
  • Must be able to work in an environment that includes a hot stove, fryers, etc.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
