Registered Respiratory Therapist III

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist III for the 3rd shift in St. Petersburg, FL. This full-time position requires three 12-hour night shifts per week. The role involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders, initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, and operating respiratory care equipment.

Responsibilities include demonstrating competency in respiratory therapeutics, maintaining accurate documentation, blending patient care management skills with technical expertise, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, and maintaining quality control and compliance with Orlando Health policies.

Qualifications include an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences, advanced critical care training, a license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the State of Florida Department of Health, and current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. Preferred credentials include active membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care and Florida Association for Respiratory Care.
