They typically offer a combination of lodging, dining, sports, and leisure activities such as swimming, golfing, spa treatments, and organized tours. Resorts may be located in a variety of settings, such as beachfronts, mountains, or rural areas, and are designed to offer guests a relaxing and enjoyable experience all in one place. Many resorts cater to families, couples, or specific interest groups, and some operate on an all-inclusive basis where meals, activities, and amenities are included in the price.
