Better K9 Pet Resort LLChas immediate job opening for ourKennel Tech 1 overnight shift part time regularposition(24-32) in our Riverside location, possibly and occasionally in our Corona location if needed. We are looking for people who are passionate about working with dogs, come join our team!!


Better K9 Pet Resort LLCis a primarily outdoor cage free/leash free dog daycare, boarding, and training facility. We have two locations, one in Riverside and one in Corona, California. Our passion is working with dogs and creating an environment that provides both dog and owner with a high level of security and reassurance, so their pups are safe and comfortable.


This is an entry-level, for experienced part time regularposition(24-32hrs) position available in our Riverside location.

Shift hours would be 9:00pm to 6:00am at our Riverside location with possibility to cross train in our Corona location if needed.


Job Requirements:


  • Oversee all boarding dogs throughout the night at the Corona facility.
  • Watching, engaging, and assisting any dogs that need assistance throughout the night.
  • General cleaning/sanitization of dog rooms, yards, and facility as instructed
  • Learning and get certified in dog handling techniques
  • Administering medication (generally caring for ill dogs may be required)
  • Feeding dogs if required to throughout the night
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds


Must Have Requirements:


  • Good attendance & punctuality are a must
  • Experience working graveyard shift or overnight shift at a dog boarding or veterinary facility, at least 1 year preferred
  • Able to lift 70+ lbs.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays
  • Working cell phone
  • Reliable transportation
  • Is a team player and has a willingness to learn


Great to Have, but Not Required:


  • At least 1 year of previous experience working in a kennel, dog handling, or working with dogs in a professional setting
  • Vet tech certification
  • CPR certification, humans or dogs
  • Open Availability
