Job description

The Recreation Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of recreation operations, including guest programming, activity scheduling, fitness center oversight, and pool operations. The recreation Supervisor also plays a key role in developing, promoting, organizing, and executing engaging recreational, wellness, seasonal, and member-focused activities that enhance the overall Club at Spruce Peak experience.  This position provides leadership, training, and support to recreation team members while ensuring exceptional experiences for guests and members.
What You'll Do:

         Create, plan, coordinate, and execute recreational activities, events, and experiences for club members.

         Develop seasonal activity calendars and special event programming that support membership objectives.

         Lead individual, small-group, and large-group activities, games, classes, and outdoor experiences.

         Collaborate with other departments to create unique resort-wide and member engagement opportunities.

         Evaluate program participation and guest feedback to continuously improve offerings.

         Develop activity agendas, promotional materials, and communication pieces utilizing applicable software platforms.

         Ensure activities are inclusive, engaging, safe, and aligned with the resort brand experience.

         Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule participation in recreational activities and events.

         Provide information regarding recreation amenities, fitness facilities, pool operations, and activity offerings.

Pay: $25.00 an hour

         Enthusiasm for outdoor adventures!

         Bachelor's degree in Education, Outdoor Studies Recreation, Tourism, Sports, Hospitality or related field

         Experience with outdoor recreation, programming, leadership or child care/camp programs

         WFR certification is a plus

         Customer service experience

         Ability to be active in outdoor adventure activities all day

         Outdoor technical or naturalist experience is a plus

         Excellent communication skills.

         Must be 21 years of age or older

         Flexible schedule to include both weekends and holidays
