Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:
The Front Desk Agent at Hacienda Del Sol Resort is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, facilitating check-in and check-out procedures, and addressing guest inquiries. This role requires strong knowledge of the resort’s services, activities, and amenities in order to effectively answer questions, provide accurate information, and resolve guest concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position offering an attractive compensation package that includes a percentage of service charges, as well as medical, dental, and vision benefits and exclusive resort discounts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide instructions for check-in
  • Ensure proper completion of registration paperwork
  • Perform check-ins and check-outs for guests
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding hotel services, activities, and amenities in a timely and efficient manner
  • Accept and process payments for guest stays
  • Respond to and resolve complaints and inquiries received from guests
  • Monitor guest requests for housekeeping and maintenance services
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Monitor front desk supplies and alert staff for restocking
  • Ensure proper security procedures are in place by adhering to safety rules
  • Maintain commonplace areas like the lobby and ensure safety and cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Previous experience and knowledge working with hotel systems preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Possess strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Basic knowledge of computers and computer systems
  • Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift to other shifts.
